Connecting with Like-Minded Investors: Why We Love Speaking at Property Events

26th July 2025

We recently had the pleasure of spending a day with the Property Entrepreneur Club for their networking and training event, and what an inspiring day it was! There's nothing quite like being surrounded by passionate property professionals who are genuinely interested in making a difference whilst building their portfolios.

The energy in the room was infectious. We found ourselves in conversations with investors from all backgrounds - some were seasoned professionals looking to diversify their portfolios, whilst others were newer investors seeking their first meaningful opportunity. What united everyone was a genuine curiosity about the supported living sector and its potential for both financial returns and social impact.

The questions we received throughout the day really demonstrated the quality of thinking in the room. People weren't just asking about yields and returns (though those conversations happened too!). They wanted to understand the human side of supported living - who are the tenants? What does good provision look like? How can they ensure they're making a positive difference?

We had fascinating discussions about everything from property adaptations and lease structures to the regulatory landscape and partnership opportunities with care providers. It was clear that many attendees had done their homework and were thinking seriously about how supported living could fit into their investment strategies.

What struck us most was how the combination of education and networking created such a productive environment.

Whilst we were there to share our expertise about supported living, we learned just as much from the attendees. Their insights into different property strategies, financing options, and market trends enriched our understanding of how supported living fits into the broader investment landscape.

The success of our day with the Property Entrepreneur Club has reinforced something we've always believed: there's enormous appetite among property investors to learn about supported living as an investment strategy. The sector offers something unique - the opportunity to generate solid returns whilst addressing one of society's most pressing housing needs.

If you're part of a property networking group, investment club, or training organisation, we'd be delighted to come and speak at one of your events. Whether it's a breakfast meeting, evening seminar, or full-day conference, we can tailor our presentation to suit your audience and format.

We can cover everything from the basics of supported living investment through to advanced topics like structuring deals, working with registered providers, and navigating the regulatory landscape. We're equally comfortable presenting to newcomers who've never heard of supported living or experienced investors looking to add this strategy to their toolkit.

What we bring to your event :

  • Real-world case studies and success stories
  • Current market data and demand insights
  • Practical guidance on getting started
  • Interactive Q&A sessions
  • Access to our network of care providers and industry professionals

At Supported Living Gateway, we believe that the best partnerships are built through face-to-face connections and honest conversations. There's something powerful about being in a room with people who share your values around ethical investing and social impact.

If you'd like us to present at your next property networking event, we'd love to hear from you. Simply drop us an email at hello@supportedlivinggateway.com with details about your group, typical attendance numbers, and preferred topics. We're happy to discuss how we can add value to your next gathering.

Let's work together to spread awareness about this rewarding investment sector and create more opportunities for vulnerable people to live independently in quality homes across the UK.
